Final Verdict:
Moorhouse’s are quickly establishing themselves as a favourite brewery of mine. I really wish they were more local to us in the South West.
After finding their Blonde Witch in a local Morrison’s, I struggled to find any other of their products locally. Moorhouse’s were kind enough to supply their newest beer to us, and it’s another roaring success.
The beautiful colour, wonderful aroma and strong hoppy flavours, with a fruity, citric hint coming through just works on every level. The aftertaste is lingering but not overpowering, and this just defines the word balanced.
From start to finish this beer goes down easily, and there’s really nothing negative I can say about it. My biggest issue is that once it’s gone, I can’t easily get more!
This is an absolute triumph of a Pale Ale, and I would not hesitate to pick this up if I saw it locally!
